Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is supporting several higher educational institutions pan-India in terms of knowledge exchange and dissemination of best practices. As part of this IQAC mentoring program, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice – Chairman – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus virtually addressed a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on NAAC Accreditation Framework & Documentation organized by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) and Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College (STC), Pollachi on June 14, 2023. 100 + faculty attended the workshop held in hybrid mode and organized by Dr. V. Ramachandran, Director, Center for Faculty Development of STC. Dr. Prashant R. Nair gave an extensive online presentation on “How to face NAAC Peer Team Visit?” wherein he highlighted several best practices and curricular innovations of AMRITA like Department Academic Advisory Committee (DAAC) for OBE, life skills, and grace marks for outstanding achievement in hackathons, sports, culture, and community outreach activities.
