Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham faculty member, Mr.Anoop V. K., was recently invited for an expert talk on Network Security and Threats to Computer Security on July 3rd, 2015 at the Digital India Week.
Anoop V.K., Head of IT Services, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, delivered a talk on “Network Security” and “Threats to Computer Security”, covering topics such as Surveillance Security, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise networks- their security threats, resolutions and backend network of India’s e-governance portal. He was invited to speak at the Digital India Week organized by National Institute of Technology, Calicut.
To transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge based economy, Government of India has announced Digital India which was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi, on July 1, 2015. Its vision is spread across three areas:Digital Infrastructure as a Utility to Every Citizen, Governance & Services on Demand and Digital Empowerment of Citizens. It’s a program to prepare India for a knowledge future.
A week-long event, Digital India Week, was held across the country. As part of this, National Institute of Technology, Calicut organized a week-long programs from July 2-10, 2015 that included talks, demos and workshops by experts in the field.
