Dr. Ganesh Neelakanta Iyer, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, delivered a tutorial on “Game Theory and its Applications in Networks and Distributed Systems” as part of the 26th IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT 2019) held at Hanoi, Vietnam, from April 8-10, 2019. The conference saw participation of delegates from more than 40 countries.
Dr. Ganesh’s tutorial was well appreciated by the participants and several delegates interacted with him on possible applications of game theory in their area of research. In addition, Dr. Ganesh served as the session chair for one of the sessions on “Cooperative Communications” and also presented a research paper on the application of non-cooperative games for enforcing cooperation in ad-hoc wireless networks.
