Dr. Balu Vaidyanathan, Professor, Pediatric Cardiology, and Dr. Balaganesh Karmegaraj, Post DM Fellow, Pediatric Cardiology, represented the Fetal Cardiology Division, Department of Pediatric Cardiology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, in the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology (AEPC) at Seville, Spain, held from May 15 – 18, 2019.
They presented 2 oral abstracts from fetal cardiology database during this meeting, one on “Does 3D/4D Spatiotemporal Image Correlation (STIC) Echocardiography Improve Diagnostic Accuracy and Predicting Surgical Approach In Fetuses with Double Outlet Right Ventricle?” and another on “Prenatal Diagnosis Improves Pre‐Operativestatus and Outcomes after Neonatal Cardiac Surgery: Impact of a Fetal Cardiology Program from Alower Middle‐Income Country.”
