For the 1st time, G N Ramachandran Memorial Lecture was held on October 09, 2023 at Amrita School of Pharmacy Auditorium at 10 am. The talk was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics to honor the visionary scientist, Professor G N Ramachandran, a name etched in the annals of scientific history, for his contributions to the fields of biology and physics. His work on the Ramachandran plot revolutionised the understanding of peptide structures and laid the foundation for advancements in the study of biomolecules. The keynote speaker of the memorial talk was Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Dean of Pharmacy and Nanosciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. His lecture was based on the topic-Nanomedicine. All students and faculty attended the program.
