​Dr. Liju George, second year MD Resident, Department of Microbiology, Amrita School of Medicine, received first prize for her poster titled “Evaluation of Gene Xpert MTB/RIF Versus Smear Microscopy and Liquid Culture in a Tertiary Care Hospital in Kochi, Kerala” at a Continuing Medical Education (CME) organised by Department of Microbiology, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram & Academy of Clinical Microbiologist on February 27, 2016. She was guided by Dr. Sadia Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, Amrita School of Medicine.
