Kochi: Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organised the induction ceremony for its 25th batch of B.Sc. Nursing students and 14th batch of M.Sc. Nursing students.
Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, inaugurated the ceremony at the B-Block Auditorium of Amrita Hospital and delivered the benedictory address.
Dr. Prathapan Nair , Chief Medical Administrator and Emeritus Professor at Amrita Hospital, presided over the function. Dr. K. T. Moly, Principal of Amrita College of Nursing, and Dr. Simple Rajagopal, Principal of Sree Narayana College of Nursing, North Paravur, offered their felicitations.
Dr. Sunil M., Professor at Amrita College of Nursing, welcomed the gathering, while Dr. Anila K. P. proposed the vote of thanks. The course curriculum was also distributed to the students during the ceremony.
An interactive session with the students and their parents was held afterwards. Faculty members and students of Amrita College of Nursing, along with parents, attended the programme.
