In the State level competition held at Kochi on December 12th, 2016, to select the “Most Promising UG & PG Students” from among dental students across Kerala, students of Amrita School of Dentistry emerged toppers.
A colloquium was held for the 1st year MBS students of Amrita School of Business, Bengaluru. Ms. Mamta Pillai, of Bosch, was the speaker.
The colloquium, held on 14th December, 2016, was well attended by both the 1st and 2nd year students of the department of Management, Bengaluru campus. The talk was given by Mr. Ram Seshu, of Born to Win Academy.
The International Gita Chanting Event, initiated by Kurukshetra Development Board, on behalf of Haryana Govt., was conducted in a befitting manner at the Central Atrium of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on December 10th, 2016. The idea was to chant Gita across the globe at one moment in time for strength and peace. The selected 18 slokas were chanted exactly at IST 6.00 p.m., one sloka from each of the eighteen chapters of Gita.

On 29th November 2016, the Department of Management, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, conducted a colloquium for MBA students. It was conducted by the E café (Entrepreneur’s café) which supports new entrepreneurs and also helps them in networking.
