Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) and Govt. of Maharashtra has applauded the efforts of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in conducting Behaviour-based study and for drafting the Kerala Antibiotic and Infection Prevention Policy. The Scroll of Honour was presented by Honorable Health Minister of Maharashtra, Dr. Deepak Sawant, at the AHPI Global Conclave held at Mumbai during February 13-14, 2016.  The Scroll of Honour was “in recognition of distinguished contribution towards formulating of State Antibiotic and Infection Prevention Policy for the first time in the country”. It also “acknowledges the initiatives by Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in furthering the patient safety measures in general and public health in particular”.
