Student Feedback at INSPIRE Camp

As the five-day INSPIRE science camp came to a close, participating students (and their teachers!) unanimously gave a big thumbs-up to the event.

Enthusiastically providing feedback, they were effusive in their praise of all camp activities.

“The camp provided the perfect opportunity to delve deeper into the field of science,” gushed Gopika S. Nair of the Army Public School, Trivandrum.

“A worthwhile camp for all those who aspire to a career in the fields of science and technology. Thanking the organizers for conducting such a camp,” chimed in Satheesh P.A. of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur.

“The camp inspired beyond expectations. I feel proud for having spent these five days with nearly 200 future scientists and engineers,” stated Revathy Prakash, Sanjos Senior Secondary School, Pathanamttita.

Many participants singled out their favorite camp sessions, detailing the benefits they received.

“Physics was a nightmare for me, but after attending the circuit design workshop conducted by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I feel I have started loving the subject,” shared Anju S. Nair from Campion School.

“The mechanical engineering workshops helped us understand the differences between petrol and diesel engines. Even if we don’t pursue higher studies in engineering, this basic knowledge will be very useful in our lives,” communicated Rahul Hari H. from Govt HSS Neyatingara, Trivandrum.

“The camp provided us a glimpse into many areas including sustainability, space sciences, anthropology and yoga. The movies we saw were also a highlight; they were informative as well as entertaining,” said Aravind D.S. who came all the way from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, to participate.

“The concept of fusing science and spirituality has taken my idea of science to new dimensions. It was absolutely thought provoking. Getting a chance to interact with various distinguished scientists, including a Nobel Laureate had kindled an inspirational flame in me to reach out to new heights,” articulated Najwa Abdul Rasheed from Mount Seena Public School, Palakkad.

“The Ayurveda expo was wonderful, giving us an opportunity to get an exposure to the field and interact with Ayurveda doctors and students. The workshops on composting and recycling taught us how we can protect Mother Nature. It was great to learn about the inspiring projects of Amrita Sanjeevani,” commented Gopika Radhakrishnan of AmritaVidyalayam, Palakkad.

“This was the best camp I ever attended. The motivational talk by Br. Manoj, the Olabs experience, were all great. Every moment of the camp was in fact, inspiring. We appreciate the AmritaCREATE team for this initiative,” stated Lakshmi Sree of Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu.

Other students joined in, thanking the AmritaCREATE team for the wonderful sessions they had enjoyed.

“The camp was all about learning beyond textbooks in a very interesting way,” indicated Ghulam Nabi Azad of Mount Seena Public School, Palakkad.

“The camp was unique with a blend of science, nature, yoga, fun and spirituality,” said Ameena R., S.D.V.E.M.H.S. School, Alappuzha.

“Heartfelt thanks to Amma and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for giving me a chance to participate in such an inspiring camp,” summed up Mahesh Mukundan from S. N. Trust, Kollam.
