The Times of India Chennai edition of today (Friday, September 19, 2014) has erroneously titled an article as Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham fake job scam, whereas the article is concerned about an Institute of Hotel Management in Chennai that uses Amritha in its title, but is absolutely UNRELATED to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham headquartered in Coimbatore. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is of international academic and research repute and has no programs in hotel management whatsoever, and never indulges in any such fake job practices even in slightest manner. Times of India has accepted its grave error in branding the Hotel Managment Institute as Amritha Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and Times of India has agreed to retract the report and publish a correction in tomorrow’s edition.
