Amrita School for Sustainable Futures conducted a Two-Day Capacity-building workshop on Environmental Auditing (EA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on June 22-23, 2023, sponsored by the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Kerala, held at Amritapuri campus. Dr Yogesh Velankar and Dr Sajithkumar K.J. were the workshop coordinators. Eminent resource persons Dr T. V Ramachandra, IISC Bangalore, Dr Harshit Lakra, IIT Roorkee and Dr Thangavelu, Nature Science Foundation delivered interactive and hands-on sessions. More than 40 participants from various institutions actively participated in the workshop and gained awareness about fundamental concepts and drafting EIA and EA reports.
