Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine was honored with a visit by Shri. Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the honorable Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, on 1st February 2016.
Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Director, Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, presented energy related products developed by the Center, such as LED lights, solar charge controllers and home lighting systems, which have potential to train villagers to assemble from parts and make a living under a skills development plan. The Minister was keenly interested and requested Dr. Nair to provide more information to the government for possible support.
