The official launch of Vidyut 2023, a national-level multi-fest, was held at the Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on March 8, 2023. The event was inaugurated by Karthik Surya, a well-known YouTuber and social media influencer from Kerala.

The primary objective of the event was to focus on and establish the G20 and C20 themes. The event witnessed the grand launch of this year’s Vidyut with a reveal video followed by several multi-cultural performances by students.

The evening was filled with energy and enthusiasm as the band Nadham Kalasamithy performed a vibrant ‘Chendamelam’ and the college music band ‘Vaikhari’ entertained the audience with their mesmerizing tunes.
