Sudha – Service Robot

Sudha is an intelligent toilet-cleaning robot designed to autonomously maintain hygiene in restroom environments through advanced perception and interaction capabilities. Equipped with a robotic arm featuring an end-effector-mounted camera, it uses object detection and computer vision techniques to identify toilet surfaces, stains, and high-contact areas requiring cleaning. The system integrates sensors for obstacle detection and navigation, enabling safe movement within confined restroom spaces. Sudha employs targeted cleaning mechanisms such as automated spraying, scrubbing, and wiping, ensuring efficient removal of dirt and pathogens. Its onboard processing supports real-time decision-making, allowing adaptive cleaning based on surface conditions. Additionally, the robot can monitor cleanliness levels and provide status updates through a user interface or voice interaction using speech recognition and text-to-speech modules. Designed for reliability and precision, Sudha enhances sanitation standards while reducing human effort, making it suitable for deployment in public and private restroom facilities.
