Business Development – RK Group (2017-2019 Batch)

Faculties were very supportive and they listen to students queries and requisites. Classrooms are more spacious and ventilated. All faculties were like friends and always ready to guide. Teaching was very interactive in all classes. Never had to open book, all practical explanations and projects. We had colloquiums, enjoyed cultural and many other events which we organised/ participated and field trips! CIR training was useful. More than training the motivations given by faculties helping us now in lot of situations/issues. Hostel life was complete fun, new experience and memorable. 2 years at Amritapuri was great!

Amardeep J. D.

My experience in college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice. There have been many opportunities to learn more ways of improving my craft as a result of my time in college, which I am truly thankful for. My experience in college, there is huge list. Here I would particularly talk about the Amritavarsham (Amma’s Birthday), has allowed me to gain more knowledge about a managerial skills (Planning, Organising, Team work, etc.,) The Teachers were there for us when we needed them. In summary, my time in college has enriched my life in many ways. It has provided me with the necessary tools to enhance my skills more, taught me valuable knowledge about this diverse world and people and concepts in general and eventually will enabled me to hopefully become more successful in life when I finally graduated and got my degree.

The MBA program at Amritapuri campus provides a wonderful platform for every budding entrepreneur and career oriented Individuals to understand the dynamics of business world. The courses are updated and developed as per the changing business nature and therefore I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is double minded on where to join. The course is in par with International standards and I can say that because I have been in a brief student exchange program during my MBA 2015-17. The faculties are very friendly and they help us learn with fun. For every MBA aspirant, I would suggest to do a little research on what they wish to do with their career and approach the courses with a perspective of their own as everyone in the program will be having a different idea of what they want from this course. If you are a fresher and joining the program, it can be hard as I was one. So do your research and enjoy learning.

Namritha Surendranath
Consultant-Talent Acquisition, Mu Sigma Business Solutions. (2015-2017 Batch)

I had a great time during my two year course of MBA at ASB Amritapuri. It was my dream come true moment when I got a chance to pursue my MBA from ASB. The faculty here plays a major role in moulding us as professionals. They walk us through plenty of live cases which helps us boost our confidence level and work towards achieving the best out of us. I had done my majors in HR and minor specialization in Marketing.Securing an HR job through placement does not sound like a cake walk for most of us. But I got all the knowledge and tips from our HR faculty members and also the placement trainers. The CIR training has also helped us a lot when it comes to resume preparation, assessment trainings, mock interviews where you would be actually given detailed feedback on where you stand now and the areas of improvement. I believe whatever I’ve achieved today is only because of their guidance and mentorship. The efforts our faculty members put in for our placement preparions are commendable. They give you context about most of the companies that come in and also make sure we are prepared enough to face the GD and interview rounds. The curriculum also includes presentations, which I believe improves our self confidence and is also one of the most effective ways to present our content to others. The best part was the Marketing projects which we had done as part of our course. Starting from NPD to Guerilla Marketing, ASB makes sure the students get to try and explore different levels experience with limited resources.

I spent my graduation and post graduation at the same campus it’s filled with memories both bad and good but nothing matters if the faculties and friends guide you through the door of success, I have been through that door where you interact with outer world breaking your limitations and race towards your goal.

The 2 years in Amritapuri was really an eye opener to the corporate world. Apart from the usual classroom stuff, we all enjoyed the campus to the core. The biggest takeaway in Amritapuri as compared to other campus is the Ashram itself. I would request all our aspirants to cherish every moment in the campus, as those memories and friendship would indeed be a booster for your life ahead.

Those days were really incredible. Looking back, I can now relate to many situations what our faculties had lectured. It has been almost a decade since I left Amrita’s campus but the memories, learnings and experiences are still with me. The guidance of Somnath sir, Abhijat sir and Avinash sir are invaluable. Being the 1st batch from Amritapuri campus, we all had so much to do in terms of setting up a benchmark or build the foundation, I believe we have come a long way. The campus is bliss and certainly I would love to revisit. The concept of value based education from Amrita will certainly benefit every aspiring management enthusiast.
