Apart from facilitating job placements, the placement office at ASB works closely with corporates to place students for summer projects. The summer projects are for a minimum duration of eight weeks from Mid April to June every year. In the year 2010, close to 90 companies from across India participated in taking ASB students for summer projects.
One of the unique aspects of summer internships at ASB is the concept of Mentorship. There is unique two level mentorship where an individual faculty guide, as well as an alumni mentor is appointed for each student’s project. Also each student reports and works with a specified manager in his / her summer internship organization. This mentorship and direct supervision plays a vital role in giving students the support required to execute their projects effectively.
The summer of 2010 saw ASB students involved in a wide range of live projects across the country.
