The Indian Institute of Technology – Mumbai along with HRD Ministry and  Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham trained over 3500 college teachers from different parts of the country through an e-learning programme. The 10-day online Basic Electronics workshop was conducted using the e-learning platform, A-VIEW developed by Amrita University at Amritapuri Campus.

Amrita Virtual Interactive E-Learning World (A-View), the e-learning platform, developed by Amrita e-learning Research Lab, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri connects all universities and colleges of the country free of cost. The platform will be used for education dissemination, particularly in the distance education mode.
