Collaborations Lead to Knowledge Transfer & Transfer of Technology Says Amrita Faculty Member

Collaborations between industry and institutions have resulted in projects ranging from storage systems to smart pumps. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has around 50 active MoU's. "While most MoU's deal with research-cum-consultancy work, a few are related to knowledge transfer and transfer of technology for commercialising a product Most MoUs are related to sponsored research and providing solutions for industry problems and technical solutions in niche areas", shared A Balachandran, Senior General Manager, Corporate Relations, Corporate Industry Relations, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Rajiv Nair, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Amritapuri campus, presented the paper titled, "CSR Disclosure and Financial Transparency: Evidence from India", in collaboration with Deakin University and RMIT University, at the tier 1 conference, 9th Financial Markets and Corporate Governance (FMCG) 2018, held at The La Trobe Business School in Melbourne, Australia, from April 5-7, 2018.
