Bio

Dr. Misha J. C. Babu currently serves as Professor at the Department of General Surgery, School of Medicine, Kochi.

Dr. Misha J C Babu is a highly accomplished General Surgeon, Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon, and postgraduate medical teacher with over 20 years of experience in advanced surgical care, academic medicine, and breast oncology. Recognized for her expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstruction, she is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care for women with benign and malignant breast conditions.
With advanced training in Breast Oncoplasty from the United Kingdom and specialized robotic surgery training from South Korea, Dr. Misha combines surgical precision with a strong focus on aesthetics, functionality, and quality of life. She has been instrumental in establishing specialized breast care services and is widely respected for her expertise in complex breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and advanced general surgical procedures. Her approach integrates evidence-based medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and compassionate care to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
