Investigating the Role of Natural Compounds in Modulating SUMOylation during Host-Pathogen Interactions

SUMOylation, a key regulator in infection response, modulates host-pathogen interactions. This study explores natural products with immunomodulatory properties as potential SUMOylation modulators. We aim to identify if these products alter SUMOylation patterns and influence pathogen defense in immune cells such as THP-1. This research can improve our understanding of immune signaling and SUMOylation and also unveil the therapeutic potential of these natural products.
