Bio

Dr. K. Sripriyan is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the School of Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus. He has 17 years of teaching and research experience, which includes academic positions at VIT and PSG College of Technology. He completed his Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from AC Government College of Engineering and Technology, and his Ph.D. in Welding Technology from Anna University, Chennai. Dr. Sripriyan has published 35 peer-reviewed papers in international and national journals and conferences. He is the inventor of four Indian granted patents, reflecting his active contributions to applied research and innovation. His research interests span Additive Manufacturing, Moving Heat Source Modeling, and Machine Learning. He has successfully obtained the grants from ANRF and the Office of PSA, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Dr. Sripriyan is a lifetime member of the Institution of Engineers (IE) and has served as editor for several academic books published by Springer and CRC Press.
