Amrita Hospital and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Faridabad, celebrated the Navratri Mahotsav 2025 from September 22nd to October 2nd, bringing together students, staff, and faculty for a spiritually uplifting and culturally rich 10-day festival. The celebrations, inspired by Amma’s divine guidance, honored Goddess Durga, the power of knowledge, and the triumph of light over darkness.
The Mahotsav began with morning prayers including Ashtottaram, Lalitha Sahasranamam, and Devi Aarati, followed by devotional evening sessions featuring Bhajans, Mahishasuramardini Stotram, and Prasad distribution. Highlights included the Special Navratri Cultural Programs on September 30th and October 1st, Ayudha Puja on September 29th honoring tools and instruments essential in daily life, and the Vijayadashami Vidyārambham ceremony on October 2nd, conducted via live telecast by Amma, Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.
Adding joy and energy to the festivities, the Navratri Cultural Fest – “Sanedo 3.0” on October 1st featured Garba and Dandiya performances, music, DJ night, and food stalls, engaging the entire Amrita community in celebration. The festival successfully blended devotion, culture, and unity, reflecting the institution’s commitment to spiritual growth, holistic well-being, and the enduring message of love, compassion, and selfless service.
