On 18th March 2026, Amrita Hospital’s Nursing College, Faridabad, successfully hosted a comprehensive AI Training workshop under the ADiRA Program by Data Leads, as a part of an initiative to build an AI-Ready workforce in India By AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific, an initiative by AVPN supported by Google.org and Asian Development Bank. The session was specifically designed for the follow-up batch of nursing staff and students, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence within the healthcare and academic sectors.
The training was led by two distinguished subject matter experts: Dr. Manisha Pandit: A PhD in Health Communication and Governance from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. With extensive experience in public health systems and strategic communications at the Centre for Food and Nutrition Security (CFNS), Dr. Pandit provided a deep dive into the intersection of technology and patient engagement.
Mr. Venkat Raman NV: Deputy Program Manager and Technical Expert. A certified ADiRA trainer, Mr. Raman brought technical expertise in AI applications across diverse domains, ensuring the practical implementation of AI tools was effectively communicated.
The training was conducted in two distinct batches to ensure personalized attention and interactive learning:

Batch 2 (02:00 PM – 04:00 PM): Attended by 160+ participants (Fresh Batch).
