PRAGYA 2026 – Multimedia Workshop Empowers Young Digital Creators

The PRAGYA 2026 Multimedia Workshop, a vibrant and immersive learning initiative, concluded successfully after five days of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. The workshop was organized by The 2nd Foundation and AMMACHI Labs, in collaboration with Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad.

Held from March 27 to 31, 2026, the program brought together 97 students from 7 schools, offering them a hands-on introduction to the dynamic field of multimedia and digital creativity.

Workshop Overview

PRAGYA 2026 was designed as an engaging and practical learning experience, enabling students to explore key multimedia domains such as 2D Animation, 3D Animation, and Video Editing. Through interactive sessions and guided practice, participants developed essential technical skills while enhancing their creativity and storytelling abilities.

A major highlight of the workshop was the creation of student video reels titled “My Multimedia Journey.” These projects beautifully captured the participants’ learning experiences, showcasing not only their technical understanding but also their imagination and innovative thinking.

Inaugural Ceremony

The workshop commenced with an inspiring inaugural function on March 27, 2026, held at Ashoka Hall. The event was inaugurated by Br. Achalamrita Chaitanya, Deputy General Manager, ACRD Guest House, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Kochi.

The ceremony was presided over by E. Ramankutty, Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi.

The inaugural session began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and prayer, setting a positive and inspiring tone. The dignitaries highlighted the growing importance of multimedia skills in today’s digital era and encouraged students to explore their creative potential with confidence.

Valedictory Ceremony

The workshop concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony on March 31, 2026, celebrating the achievements and creative outputs of the participants.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. K. Sivaprasad, Member of the Expert Panel at DRDO and former Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

The Presidential Address was delivered by K. Suresh, Deputy Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi, while the keynote address was given by Br. Samsiddhamrita Chaitanya, Campus Director at Amrita Hospital.

The ceremony featured highlights from the five-day workshop, a showcase of student multimedia projects, participant feedback, and the distribution of certificates. The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and contributions of trainers, organizers, and students.

PRAGYA 2026 stands as a testament to the power of experiential learning, inspiring young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of multimedia and digital creativity while contributing meaningfully to global education goals.
