Bio

Dr. Anubhav Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at the School of Medicine, Faridabad.

Dr. Anubhav is a highly accomplished Clinical Microbiologist and Clinical Laboratory Professional with over two decades of experience following his MD. He completed his MBBS from King George Medical College, Lucknow, and his MD in Microbiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he also completed three Senior Residency programs.

A certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and CAP, and an Internal Auditor for ISO 15189 and NABL, Dr. Anubhav is also a NABH assessor. He has held senior leadership positions in several reputed organizations, contributing significantly through his wide-ranging expertise in laboratory management, quality systems, and technology-driven healthcare solutions. His diverse skill set has enabled him to support the growth of start-up medical ventures as well as to build new divisions within established healthcare organizations.

During his tenure as Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi, he developed a strong interest in Clinical Virology, which led him to establish the Dengue Referral Laboratory in 2006. He has authored more than 20 publications in national and international indexed journals and contributed book chapters. He has also served as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator for over 10 research projects.

Dr. Anubhav further expanded his expertise by completing an Infectious Disease Course from P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, in collaboration with the Henry Ford Health System, USA. He later joined the SRL Diagnostics Reference Laboratory in Gurgaon, where he played a pivotal role in setting up the Swine Flu Diagnostic Laboratory during the 2009 outbreak. During his tenure at SRL, he also established five field laboratories for screening HIV and AIDS-related complications among intravenous drug users.

He subsequently contributed to the Metro Group of Hospitals (Delhi NCR), led the establishment of the Diagno Labs chain, and worked with Cryoviva, where he developed a deep interest in stem cell technology and biotherapeutics.

With a strong foundation in clinical diagnostics, laboratory quality, infectious diseases, and translational research, Dr. Anubhav continues to advance medical science through innovation, leadership, and academic excellence.
