Bio

G. Bharathi Mohan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. He completed his UG from the University of Madras in 2002 and MTech in Information Technology from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, in 2005

Mr. Bharathi Mohan has more than 17 years of experience in teaching. He has guided 30 UG Projects and 12 PG projects. His areas of interest include Natural Language Processing, Principles of Programming Languages, Information Retrieval, Multicore Architectures and Programming, Internet Programming, Python Programming, Database System, and Object-Oriented Programming. He is an enthusiastic activist in promoting Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) in Course Labs and Projects. He also mentored students for Google Summer of Code, Smart India Hackathon and IBM Great Mind Challenge. His area of research includes Automated Text Summarization, one of the emerging applications of Natural Language Processing.
