Bio

Dr. Devipriya Soman currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Kayachikitsa, Amrita School of Ayurveda. She pursued her BAMS (gold medalist) from Amrita School of Ayurveda and pursued Post Graduation from Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. She has also completed an online certificate course in Statistics in Medicine, conducted by Stanford University. Dr. Devipriya worked as Clinical Registrar, Department of Panchakarma, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam during 2010-2011. She has received the Ashtavaidyan Sri. E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss Memorial Award for thesis competition in the year 2014.

Dr. Devipriya has presented paper on the title ‘An Ayurvedic analysis of myelopathy with special reference to vascular malformation of the cord’ at the national conference entitled ‘Spine Disorders & their Management’, organized by Department of Ayurveda, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University. A paper on the title ‘A documentation on the relation between prameha poorvaroopas and glycemic levels’ was presented in the Aryavaidyan P. Madhava Varier Memorial Gold Medal Presentation Competition 2015.
