Dr. Sajithkumar K. J. received his PhD in Environmental Science from the School of Environmental Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala. His Graduation, Post-Graduation and Master of Philosophy are in the Environmental Science discipline. He qualified for UGC NET in Environmental Science. His research work is principally related to wastewater treatment and energy generation using anaerobic digesters and microbial fuel cells. His research interests include Solid and liquid waste management, Bioenergy, Environmental pollution studies, Biopolymers, adsorption studies and Microplastics pollution-related studies. He has a total of 4.5 years of teaching and research experience.

Dr. Sajithkumar K. J. is an Assistant Professor at the School for Sustainable Futures, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus.
