Bio

Dr. Renju Jose joined the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology at Amrita during June 2009.

He obtained his B. D. S. degree from Ragas Dental College and Hospital, Chennai and subsequently completed his M. D. S. from Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Virajpet.

Prior to joining the faculty at Amrita, Dr. Renju has served as Senior House Officer in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Pedodontics in Government Medical College, Kottayam during January 2004 – April 2006. After completion of postgraduation, he has also successfully completed Postgraduate Certification in Endodontics (recognized by DCI).

His areas of interest include advanced imaging of maxillofacial region, early oral cancer detection and treatment, daignosis, management of TMJ diorders and autoimmune diseases and endodontics. He also has received extensive training in 3-D imaging like conebeam CT and laser dentistry. He has over 4 years of teaching experience and has published papers in national and international journals.
