Bio

Dr. Sanjay Raina received his MBBS degree from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, M.P. India in 1992 and completed his internship at Medical College Jabalpur in 1993. He completed his residency and received MD (Internal Medicine) degree from R.N.T. Medical College Udaipur, University of Rajasthan, India in 1998. He went on to complete Senior Residency in Medicine and Cardiology and Joined ESIC as Specialist in Medicine in 2003. He started the Diabetic Clinic at ESI PGIMSR Basaidarapur in 2009. Dr Sanjay Raina then received training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at G B Pant Hospital Delhi, India and subsequently started the GI Endoscopy services at ESI PGIMSR Basaidarapur in 2011. He successfully completed with distinction Postgraduate program in Diabetology by John Hopkins University school of Medicine in 2014. He participated in the Strategic Management in Healthcare Program for ESIC at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2015. Dr. Sanjay Raina completed the three part MRCP (UK) exam and gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2016. He then started the independent Department of Gastroenterology at ESI PGIMSR Basaidarapur in 2020. Dr Sanjay Raina joined the prestigious Amrita School of Medicine and Hospital as Professor and Head Department of Medicine in Oct 2022. He Passed the ESEGH exam to gain MRCP UK (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) in 2023. Passed BCBR (Basic course in Biomedical Research) conducted by NPTEL which is mandated by NMC in 2023. Underwent the BCME (Basic Course in Medical Education) training at PGI Rohtak in 2023. Underwent the CISP (Curriculum Implementation Support Program) training at PGI Rohtak in 2024
