Dr. Muthaiah U, who earned his PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, serves as an Assistant Professor – Selection Grade in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. His research interests span various domains including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Disease Predictions, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Cloud Computing, AI, and Data Analytics. He possesses 17 years of teaching experience, which includes a significant tenure as a Corporate Relationships Officer, during which he adeptly aligned educational practices with industry demands, benefiting numerous students. Research publications appearing in prestigious journals, accumulating 202 citations and reaching an h-index of 5, also assumes editorial roles in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Supercomputing and IEEE Latin America Transactions further solidifying his standing in the academic community. He remains actively engaged in professional societies like IEEE, ISTE, and CSI.
