Amrita’s CIR department not only prepares students for placements so that they could exploit the wonderful opportunities for great corporate careers, but also helps them get exposure to the nuances of entrepreneurship through Amrita Centre for Entrepreneurship (ACE). The National Startup Day (16th January) and National Youth Day (12th January) celebrations were conducted as part of the ACE club activity immediately following the ACE Club induction on 12.01.2023, featuring young entrepreneur, Mr. S. Karthikeyan, Founder & CEO, OurLife Biotech Solution and Ourlife Diagnostic. More than 250 students attended the session by the young entrepreneur. Mr. Karthikeyan did his B.Tech in Biotechnology and very soon after his B.Tech he joined for Ph.D program at Amrita University. In parallel, he started his entrepreneurial journey. He is a member of ACE, NGI TBI and The Coimbatore Productivity Council. He was awarded EIR fellowship NIDHI through PSG-STEP. For the last five years, he has been successfully running the firms Ourlife Biotech Solution & Ourlife Diagnostic.
