Amritapuri, Kerala | August 1, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to transforming school education through innovation and skill-based learning, AMMACHI Labs, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, conducted an interactive orientation session on Composite Skill Labs (CSLs) for the leadership teams of Amrita CBSE Schools.
The session focused on preparing educational leaders to successfully implement Composite Skill Labs by integrating vocational education, emerging technologies, and experiential learning into school curricula. As India’s education system evolves under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and CBSE guidelines, the programme highlighted the critical role of school leadership in creating future-ready learning environments.
Representing AMMACHI Labs, Kavitha Karthikeyan, Project Manager, and Br. Ajai Kumar, Business Development Manager, presented the vision, implementation framework, and institutional support that form the foundation of Composite Skill Labs. Participants were introduced to Kaushal Bodh, Vocational Education and Training (VET), and project-based, experiential learning approaches designed to equip students with practical skills alongside academic excellence.
The interactive session also showcased AMMACHI Labs’ end-to-end support for schools adopting Composite Skill Labs. This includes Virtual Skill Labs, teacher capacity-building programmes, AI and innovation workshops, curriculum integration strategies, and hands-on, skill-based projects that enable students to develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities essential for the future workforce.
School leaders actively engaged in discussions on implementing these initiatives within their institutions and explored how collaborative partnerships can strengthen teaching practices while enhancing student learning outcomes.
