Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s curricular & skill development best practices like life skill program, internationalization, industry internships & electives, and cultural education were showcased in the Government of Tamil Nadu’s meeting with heads of higher educational institutions as part of the Naan Mudhalvan program held at government secretariat complex at Chennai on June 18, 2022. Mr. Udhayachandran T. (IAS, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) presided over this meeting organized in collaboration with NASSCOM & Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation. Dr. Prashant R. Nair (Vice-Chairman, IQAC & Coordinator, Technology Enabling Centre (TEC)) represented Amrita in this knowledge exchange program with the objective of evolving a comprehensive plan of action to address employability and skill gaps existing in the student community and adopt the best practices for universities and colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.
