Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Chairman, IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was nominated by University Grants Commission (UGC) to a committee to confer autonomous status to Kamarajar College of Engineering & Technology, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, from August 24-25, 2019. This committee was chaired by Dr. G. K. Prabhu, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, Jaipur.
