Amrita IQAC Support to Board of Studies of Autonomous Higher Educational Institutions

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) supports several autonomous higher educational institutions pan-India regarding knowledge exchange, academic audit, participation in various academic and administrative committees such as IQAC, Board of Studies, and academic advisory committees, and hosting academic delegations, who visit the campus to study the university’s best practices. As part of this IQAC mentoring program, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Head, and Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, virtually participated in the board of studies of the following autonomous higher educational institutions:

• 1st Board of Studies (BoS) meeting of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security) at Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT), Coimbatore, on 30 January 2025. Dr. Pathur Nisha T., Dean, of the School of Computer Science, NIT, chaired the BoS meeting, which approved the changes in the curricula of the B.E. CSE  (Cyber Security) program of the college.
• 12th Board of Studies (BoS) for ECE, EEE, CSE (IoT and Cyber security including Block Chain Technology) of SNS College of Engineering, Coimbatore on 12 February 2025. This BoS meeting, which was presided over by Dr. Jebarani Evangeline S, HoD – EEE & ECE departments of the college, approved the addition of open electives and value-added courses in the curricula of various B.E. programs of the college.
