Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is supporting several universities pan-India in terms of conducting Academic and Administrative Audits (AAA) and participation in various boards of studies, research, and academic advisory committees. As part of this IQAC Margdarshan, Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore campus, conducted an AAA of MIT World Peace University (WPU), Pune on 7, 8 and 9 December, 2023 along with Dr. Ranjan Sinha Thakur, Chief Librarian of BITS Pilani. This AAA was primarily a review of supporting documentation prepared by all 7 NAAC criterion coordinators and their team members of the university towards the preparation of the NAAC Self-Study Report (SSR). Dr. Prashant clarified doubts related to various best practices for NAAC accreditation during these meetings, which were coordinated by Dr. Sakthi Ganesh Murugesan, Accreditation & Ranking Committee (ARC) Chairperson and Controller of Examinations; Dr. L.N. Venkataraman, University Governance Director, and Dr. Shankar Mali, Director In-Charge-IQAC of the university.  He also held a brief interaction with Dr. Sanjay Kamtekar, Chief Academic Officer of MIT WPU.
