The professors of the Department of Panchakarma, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, Dr. Anandaraman Sharma P. V. (Professor and Head), who is the Project Incharge, with supporting faculty members, Dr. Prathibha C. K. (Professor), Dr. Parameswaran Namboothiri K. (Associate Professor), and Dr. Kadambari P. B. (Assistant Professor), are developing e-learning modules for a project titled, eMAP- e-learning Modules for Ayurveda Panchakarma. The project initiated on January 29, 2021, was funded by the Rashtreeya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Government of India.
The eMAP modules will include audio-visual aids for the purpose of teaching, learning and practice. This will involve making animated videos/tutorials for Panchakarma as learning modules and lesson plans for courses. At the research end, the project will develop and maintain a research database and indexing services for this domain.
