Amrita School of Ayurveda students participated in the Global Wellness Meet, held at Karnataka from 26th to 29th February 2016.
Dr. Krishna Prabha A., PG Scholar, Department of Kayachikitsa, Amrita School of Ayurveda, has been selected as the best presenter for her paper titled Apabahuka- A Case Study. She has been selected as the best presenter among the 25 oral presentations in the Musculoskeltal ailments session. The paper was prepared under the guidance of Dr. Ratnaprava Mishra and Dr. Krishnakumar K., faculty members of Amrita School of Ayurveda.
Students from the Department of Shalakyatantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda, presented papers at the meet. Dr. Sushma N. S., 2013 Batch PG Student, presented a paper titled Yoga for Ocular Health. Dr. Jayakrishnan A., 2015 Batch PG Student, presented a paper titled Healthy Eyes- An Ayurvedic Perspective. Dr. Anjali U., 2015 Batch PG Student, presented a paper titled Importance of Seka in Amavastha of Netra. Dr. Misha Rani K., 2015 Batch PG Student, presented a paper titled Ocular Manifestations in Endocrinal & Metabolic Disorders.
Dr. Sreeja K.G. from the Department of Samhita, Sanskrit and Siddhanta, Amrita School of Ayurveda, presented a poster titled Ayurvedic Tradition in Kerala with respect to Visha Chikitsa.
