“BRAINSTORM”, an introduction session to PES and IAS, was arranged by IEEE-PES and IAS joint Student Branch Chapter, Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Bengaluru  on August 22, 2016. The aim of this session was to highlight the importance of PES and IAS joint student chapters. This session was attended by the IEEE-PES and IAS joint student branch chapter members and by all B. Tech. and M. Tech. students of Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. 

Mr. Y. Sai PranavTeja, Vice-Chair, IEEE-PES and IAS joint Student Branch Chapter, welcomed the gathering and gave a brief presentation on power, energy and the importance of renewable energy to society which highlighted the importance of the PES and IAS student branch chapters. He explained about the events held by the chapters. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Prasanna Kumar V, Chair, IEEE-PES and IAS joint student branch chapter, ASE, Bengaluru.
