Amrita School of Business (ASB) ran itsTeaching & Learning (T&L) Retreat themed “Amrita Next Gen MBA: Integrating AI, Sustainability and Future Work Skills.” on June 1–2, 2026, hosted at the Coimbatore campus.
The two-day Retreat served as a dynamic platform for collaboration, reflection, and strategic planning, centered on the evolving global workforce demands shaping business education.
We express our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Abhishek R. for his insightful session on emerging MBA–industry linkage trends. His emphasis on AI-enhanced critical thinking, adaptability resonated with the call for industry-backed future-ready management graduates.
Our sincere thanks to our Alumnus: Mr. Arun Murali for his insightful session on the impact of AI on employability and workforce readiness; Mr. Indusekhar A.B.; Ms. Payal Lohia and Mr. Vivek S Menon for their engaging and sessions on AI applications in finance, marketing and business analytics.
𝐁𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚, Head of Corporate and Industry Relations, in his opening remarks urged the need to review and reimagine business work-related skills development in an AI enabled world; Dr Nava Subramaniam highlighted that “the ASB Next Gen MBA involves strong partnerships with industry and an AI enriched curriculum that is committed to values-based learning including sustainability, responsible management and compassionate leadership” Dr. Raghu Raman emphasised AI integration throughout the curricula also calls for a multi-disciplinary approach and immersive learning such as Live-in Labs. 𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐣 further noted that the connection to the global MBA community and the wealth of experience brought in by Adjunct Professors of Practice to the classrooms are invaluable.
The deep insights of Principals, Faculty and support staff from CIR further laid a strong foundation for shaping the Next Gen MBA at ASB. “Be the Change!” was the Retreat’s motto!
