Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore campus, celebrated the end of Utsav’18 and the 22nd Institution Day of the campus, on August 29, 2018.
Dr. Shantikumar Nair, Dean of Research, Director, Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Kochi, was the guest of honour lighting up the event.
Utsav’18, was an opportunity to recognize excellence in teaching and research of faculty members, as well as recognize achievements of both students and staff. It took a whole new direction for the first time in its history by involving students, teaching and non-teaching staffs being part of four different houses. The four houses depicted their team spirit with a theme; “Elements of the Universe”- Agni, Prithvi, Jal and Vaayu. It was a week full of sports plus literary and cultural extravaganzas which heated up with a fight for the best house. Agni bagged the overall championship trophy for Utsav’18 with a total points tally of 255 and Mr. Akshay Ravi and Ms. Poornima won Mr. Utsav and Ms. Utsav for the year 2018.
