On 26th October 2016, Mr. Gopalakrishnan, a Chartered Accountant from Mysore, gave a technical talk on Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the Department of Management and Commerce, School of Arts and Sciences, Mysyuru. Various questions on the merits and demerits of GST were discussed at the session along with the challenges in implementing GST. B. Com Taxation and Finance & IT students participated in the session and found it to be beneficial.
