Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, proudly inaugurated its 31st MBA Batch (2026–28), marking the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, leadership, and transformation. The day commenced with a Ganapathy Homam, seeking divine blessings for the incoming cohort as they embark on their management education journey.
The welcome address by PGP Chair, Dr Sathish Mahendran, highlighted the significance of responsible management education in shaping future leaders with the signature mark of being sustainability-led, community and compassion-oriented.
Dr. Nava Subramaniam, Dean, ASB, encouraged students to embrace every learning opportunity – in and out of class. She urged students to leverage AI responsibly, and to never forget their inherent value of being human – the ability to feel, love and share compassion. She also emphasised building connectivity with their batchmates as they often become life-long supporters and well-wishers of their success and happiness.
The keynote address by Mr. T R Srinivasan, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐝.), 𝐓𝐕𝐒 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 propositioned nine guiding principles for personal and professional success which included believing in themselves, build on their strength, embracing perseverance, prioritizing well-being, spending time with family, cultivating discipline, securing financial security, and contributing meaningfully to society while striving for professional excellence. Both parents and students enthusiastically engaged in his repertoire.
The event was further enriched by the presence of our distinguished alumni, Mr. Vinayan Radhakrishnan (MBA 2002–04), 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐕 𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 and Ms. Anitha Kaveri Pratap (MBA 2009–11), 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝- 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 & 𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐂- 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐉𝐏𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 who shared their inspiring journeys recalling most fondly many moments of meaningful conversations and hostel pranks – attributing them to their ability to remain resilient, creative, empathetic, agile and optimistic towards life itself.
