Mr. Sivakumar Palaniappan, a well-known professional speaker and corporate trainer, conducted a one-day workshop, February 12, 2017, on Blue Ocean Strategy for the Yi-net students of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB).

​He started the session by introducing the works of Yi-net in Coimbatore, which was renamed as YUVA recently. He detailed the Blue Ocean Strategy and went on to give activities to the students. From solving puzzles to devising strategies to solve problems, students had several activities to get engaged. Students devised strategies to solve impending crises such as food waste management.

Teams worked on solutions, developed presentations for their plans, and presented them to the participants. Mr. Palaniappan assisted students in bettering their ideas. “It was an innovative session which included presentations and strategy games. It was an amazing opportunity for us to learn a lot about management skills,” commented Karthik Kaipayil, a student from Class of 2018, who is the President of YUVA in ASB.
