M. D. in Pathology is a Non Clinical Speciality course offered by the Amrita School of Medicine.
Doctor of Medicine in Pathology is a three-year postgraduation course. Pathology is the precise study and diagnosis of disease. Pathology is the only discipline that can be classified as both a basic and clinical science. The curriculum provides an indispensable bridge between the basic science and the clinical relevance and application of this information. The course includes comprehensive training in many areas of both the basic and clinical sciences as they relate to pathologic mechanisms. The candidates with a MBBS degree from a recognized institute, who have registered permanently with the medical council of India or any other State Medical Councils, are eligible for this course.
After the course, the students acquired the competence pertaining to basic instrumentation and procedures required for the practice of Pathology in the community and at all levels of health care system.

Candidates must have MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi
NEET PG – 2020 qualified General and NRI Category candidates who have been allotted to Amrita School of Medicine by the MCC, New Delhi are eligible to report for admissions for the academic year 2020-21.
