Adding a new milestone, the School of Agricultural Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was inaugurated on August 9, 2019, by Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri (Mata Amritanandamayi Math), Prof. S. K. Barik (Director, National Botanical Research Institute) and Mr. A. Shanmugham (MLA, Kinathukadavu Constituency, Tamil Nadu). The School currently offers B. Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture and students will get advanced training in the field of agriculture science through integrating technological advancements.
