Dr. P. Ram Manohar, Research Director of Amrita Centre for Advanced Research in Ayurveda has been appointed as Advisor for the Research Council for History of Science, Indian National Science Academy, Government of India, New Delhi from the year 2016.

An awareness class on Cyber Crime was organized at Amrita School of Ayurveda on February 26, 2016. The program was organised in order to educate the students to make use of the facilities for the right purpose and to protect values to built a stable nation.
Amrita School of Ayurveda bagged second prize for the Best College Pavilion in the 3rd edition of the Global Ayurveda Festival (GAF) Kerala. GAF 2016 was held in Swapnanagari ground, Kozhikode, Kerala, from 31stJanuary to 4th February 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vision Conclave of the Global Ayurveda Festival.
The Dravyamritam 2016 Haritakam was celebrated at Amrita school of Ayurveda on 23rd January 2016. This program was organised by the department of of Dravyaguna Vignana along with PG and UG students.

Navaratri was extensively celebrated at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus from 14 to 23 October, 2015.
The 12th Convocation of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was held at Coimbatore campus on September 7, 2015. Chandrasekaran, CEO, TCS, were the Guests of Honour at the convocation ceremony.
Students of Amritapuri Campus won various prizes at the annual cultural fest of NIT Calicut, Ragam 2015 held from March 26-29, 2015. Even during the busy schedule of the periodicals and academic pressures they were able to achieve this goal.
