An exclusive webinar was conducted for the Integrated MA batch 2019-2024 of the Department of English, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri organised by Prayaana, the Association of the Department of English on the topic “Launching a PR Campaign in Today’s Digital World” scheduled on August 2, 2021 from 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm. The session was conducted by Deborah Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication, Madras Christian College, Chennai. The webinar was organised to provide insight and understanding regarding the basics of the PR campaigns, from the very step of proper research to post campaign feedback.

An exciting webinar was conducted for the Integrated MA/ MA English students of the English department of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri organised by Prayaana, the Association of the Department of English on the topic ‘How to Overcome Creative Block’ scheduled on September 18, 2021 at 7.00 pm. The session was handled by Dimple Meera J, di_ writers. It was organised to provide the opportunity to learn about the hidden way of a content writer.

An orientation class was organized for the Integrated MA English students by Prayaana, the Association of the department of English on “How To Prepare for NET” scheduled on August 7, 2021 at 6:00 PM. The session was conducted by Anjitha Gopi PhD scholar, a JRF holder. It was organized to provide aid to the students in their preparation for the NET exam.

A webinar was organised for the Integrated MA/ MA English students by Prayaana, the Association of the Department of English on the topic “Job Oriented Learning” scheduled on August 15, 2022 at 10:30 am. It was organised to enable the students to explore the best job training programs at Avodha. The session was handled by Ankita Amrita alumni, employed in Avodha on May 8, 2021.

  • On May 8, 2021, S4 Integrated MA English students released an E-Magazine by the name “Aroh”. The “Aroh” is a compilation of the artistic ventures of the students.

  • On June 5, 2020, a blog was created by S4 integrated MA English students. It is an attempt towards bringing the best out of humanity. It covers the areas of environment, travel, society, technology, fashion and design.

Abhinav S., S7 Integrated MA English student of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, published a book titled “Essays of an Atheist Indweller” on July 21, 2021. It was published by Express Publishing, An Imprint of Notion Press.

Vidya Lekshmi G., student of Integrated MA English, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham , Amritapuri published a collection of poems titled “Quest of the Blazing Sun Within” in 2021. It was published by Book Leaf publications.

  • Dr. Manu Remakant, Associate Professor and HOD of PG Department of English, Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy delivered a talk conducted under the auspices of the Department of English, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus on September 5, 2016. The topic was “A Journey from Nature Poetry to Eco-poetry.”
